Advanced Component Technology were delighted to exhibit at Offshore Europe 2017.
Adrian Cottam Sales Director explains: We were exhibiting the entire range of Kawasaki Hydraulic products with the New Staffa 3 Speed Motor front and centre. The Staffa radial piston motor has a proven pedigree in Offshore applications, and now the HMB (single displacement) , HMC (two displacements) and HPC (high power versions)are now joined by the innovative and exciting HMF (three displacement modes). Unlike other often more costly hydraulic motors, speed/displacement shifts can be carried out during dynamic operation, and a true freewheel capacity can be selected as required for some winch drives. During freewheel it is not necessary to pressurise the case for speeds up to 1,000 rpm, though faster speeds up to 1,500rpm can be attained through case flushing. This is a real step forward, adding significant features and advantages to an already proven design.
