This Hydraulic Semi-Rotary unit provided the thrust equivalent of 47 x Formula 1 Racing Cars and generated 72,500 kg thrust which is the equivalent of twice the Thrust of a 747 Engine or ½ a Space Shuttle Engine. The Actuator unit was used to test the rigidity of the A380’s front wheel.
