May 16, 2011 | The Big Bike Ride 2011
Wetherby to Scarborough Bike Ride 2011 – Distance 63.2 Miles
Registered Charity No. 1095931
COMPLETED
Another good day on Saturday, helped along by a brisk cross tail wind, which makes a huge difference
(and a welcome change from last year!)
We managed a brilliant time for the event this year completing the 63.5 miles to Scarborough in 3 hours 45 minutes.
Congratulation must go to our Paul Hudson & Perry Buckle who decided to cycle there and back, it took 6½ hours to
cycle home from Scarborough into the unforgiving headwind and they arrived back at Wetherby at 09:00pm.
Now comes the important part – drawing all the sponsor money in! I am grateful to everyone who has already made payment.
Please send your cheques and completed sponsor forms to me at the address below, cheques payable to Andrea’s Gift.
Alternatively Justgiving payments can be made at –
www.justgiving.com/ACT-BikeRide2011
Thanks you once again for all your support in this very worthwhile charity event.
President : Lady Kathy Botham
Patrons: Sir Ian Botham OBE, Jackie Alliss, Keith Howard, Trevor Cherry, Allan Lamb.
